Finally a fabric that provides maximum protection, but isn't bulky and hard to store. Originally developed for outdoor performance wear, the Nextec® encapsulation process uses precision and controlled placement of proprietary polymers to make ordinary fabrics extraordinary! This patented encapsulation process places an ultra-thin film around the fabric fibers and precisely places a durable, breathable barrier within the woven fabric to complete the high performance process. Unlike traditional coatings and laminations that just protect one side of a fabric, Nextec® uses up to 40 computerized process controls to place protective polymers inside the fabric!


The WeatherShield® cover features these performance advantages:

  • Weatherproof - Fabric sheds water as soon as it hits the cover.
  • Superior Dry Time - Because the fabric sheds moisture, just shake the cover and it dries in minutes.
  • Breathable - Allows any heat or condensation under the cover to easily escape.
  • UV Resistant - Special additives prevent UV degradation and protect the vehicle's finish and interior.
  • Dust-proof - Patented fiber encapsulation process prevents dust from filtering through fabric.
  • Packs Small & Light - All this protection in a lightweight package that folds down so compactly it's less than half the size of popular multi-layer fabrics. Weighs less than 5 oz. per square yard.

NOTICE REGARDING DARK & BRIGHT COLORS OF WEATHERSHIELD® FABRIC:
We do not recommend the use of bright color WeatherShield® fabric on light color surfaces.
"Crocking" is a fabric industry term for color transfer of dyes from a fabric to another surface. Each dye-lot of WeatherShield® fabric is tested for both wet and dry crocking and certified to AATCC Test Standard ratings of 4 or higher (out of 5) for resistance to crocking. But even with continuous testing there is still a possibility that bright colors (red, green, blue, black & yellow) can transfer color dye when rubbed against light color surfaces.
CABLE WITH LOCK
Plastic grommets are sewn into each cover in order to use our cable lock as theft deterrent. Plastic coated, seven (7) foot, hardened steel cable with brass lock and two (2) keys.
STORAGE BAG
Duffel style bag with drawstring keeps your cover neat and clean for storage or to take with you when you travel.
